Biofeedback

DIY GSR reader - finished prototype

My work with biofeedback technology is purely experimental at this point.
Investigating these tools I am examining the most convenient capabilities for my installation and performance projects focused on physical computing. And besides… having much fun.

With Romeo Cervi‘s help (understanding the circuit) I built an Arduino-based first prototype of GSRGalvanic Skin Response reader, testing it with Processing programming language.

The prototype receives the most accurate impulse from human’s fingers.

I am conceiving the more stable version of GSR reader, in which I could easily detect human’s skin resistance from other parts of the body, so in the more detailed examination of the emotional states, the reader wouldn’t disturb one’s activities (e.g. video games’ players).

The next tool I have processed is a Heart Rate Monitor.
Documentation will soon available.
